How a fight is won

• Every attack has a tell. The glove that pulls back is the glove that lands.
• Slip away from the incoming glove. Slipping into it still costs you health.
• Holding a direction walks you around him. A punch thrown from outside his lane misses on its own.
• A punch only lands when he is close enough and in front of you. The ring on the mat lights up when he is in reach.
• Each fighter works the ring differently. One walks you down, one stays long and darts in, one crowds you.
• Punch a fighter during the tell and you counter for double damage.
• Avoid a signature move and the fighter is stunned. A stunned fighter cannot move his feet. Hits during a stun do triple damage and charge a star.
• Three stars turn your next punch into a mega hook.
• Three knockdowns end the fight. Knock a fighter down three times to win it.
• The knockout bonus falls the longer a fight runs, so fast wins score more.
